Ceramic Bridge
The old ceramic bridge was too yellow with poorly shaped front teeth at the gum line with recession and exposed roots on the laterals. A more youthful and feminine look was achieved with a new ceramic bridge and ceramic veneers.
The old porcelain and metal bridge was replaced with a new all ceramic bridge.
The “Before” picture here shows a very opaque bridge with a “picket fence” or “chick-lit” appearance. Notice the new bridge has a transition of shade from gumline to incisal edge like that of natural teeth. Also, the new bridge has a much more natural and prettier shape to the teeth.
This patient was congenitally missing her right lateral incisor and had space behind her undersized left lateral incisor. The missing tooth was replaced with a conservative Resin-bonded Bridge and a Porcelain Veneer was used on the adjacent undersized lateral
